8Patent is operated by VivoVac Pty Ltd (ACN 652 414 376), powered by GreyCorp AI. This notice explains what we collect from the waitlist form, why, and how to opt out. It is intended to meet the requirements of the Australian Privacy Act and Spam Act.
What we collect
Name, email address, phone number, the type you select (founder, advisor, other), optional company name, and an optional note about what you're building. We do not collect confidential invention details through this form — please do not include them.
Why we collect it
To confirm your email (double opt-in), let you know when 8Patent opens, and follow up about the call you booked or your interest as an advisor. We never sell your details.
How it's stored
Signup data is stored in our waitlist database. Access is limited to the 8Patent team. We'll review where signup data is stored and the platform's data-handling terms before launch.
How long we keep it
Until you ask us to delete it, or until the waitlist is closed and we contact you about opening.
How to opt out
Every email from us includes an unsubscribe link. You can also email hello@8patent.com to be removed entirely.
Truthful claims
Our filings are patent-pending applications, not granted patents. A search may surface opportunities, not guarantee them. A registered patent attorney is engaged at every step. No patent outcome is guaranteed. The teaser on this site is a guide, not an assessment.
